Working Principle

How It Works

Photoluminescent signs absorb ambient light energy and re-emit it as a green glow for up to 8 hours in complete darkness — requiring no power supply. LED illuminated signs are mains-powered with battery backup, activating automatically on mains failure. Floor evacuation maps show occupants the nearest exit routes, assembly points, and equipment locations specific to their floor. Low-level floor signs at 300–400mm height remain visible in smoke-filled corridors where overhead signs may be obscured.
